SOLD to the BigPiggy! Good choice; this is a really beautiful stone and it is a very good size. Collectors seem to prefer stones that are 1 carat and up overall, but between 5-10 carats you get something that you can really heft in your hand!

This is a natural lemon quartz mined in Minas Gerais, Brazil. It's very clean at VVS clarity, it weighs 8.40 carats, and measures 14.13 x 10.00 x 8.14mm deep. It has a superbly saturated yellow color that will thrill you, and the brilliance is outstanding.
This is an elegant cut with top quality symmetry and excellent length to width ratio. It is not a stubby little emerald or an overly long emerald shape. When all of these value factors come together- symmetry, color, cut, clarity, and shape- you have a magnificent gemstone.
