The reason I ask whether to use 208 or 240 is because I have read that using higher voltage reduces amps which in turn reduces the heat produced by the miners. It results in a 13% heat reduction. Anyone noticed difference in heating while using 208 vs 240?
That only applies to using 110V vs 208V and higher. The difference in current between 208 and 240 is insignificant as far as the PSU is concerned.

I use a 240 and then have a UPS that will smooth out the power down to 220-230. An extra piece of expensive hardware, but the industrial power in the warehouse I have my miners isn't always the most reliable, so I'm happy with the extra safety.

Hello wavelengthsf...what is the capacity of your transformer? How expensive is to get to UPS? Do you have anything for surge protection as well or you just rely on UPS for those? Thanks.

I run 480v down to 208v and we have the 208 transformer set to put out about 216v-218v at the PDUs.

First question must be: Why do you need a transformer, I take it the plant power is 480v or the European version of high line eg 380-400v? Use whatever is easiest to get in your area. In the US that would most often be a 208V transformer which is just fine though I'd set the taps as high as they allow to give better margin against voltage sags, for me that was 212V.

What would the experts recommend....240 Volt Or 208 Volt Transformer? A lot of people are using the 240 volt. But that is the upper limit of the hardware. What if there is any fluctuation and the device gets damaged? What would you guys suggest to go with? Thanks.
