Your amp draw is not the same. At 240 V you draw half as many amps, all else being equal. Or to put it another way on two circuits with the same amps, the one at 240 V can power twice as many miners.

You will also gain a bit (generally 2-3%) on PSU efficiency with 240 V.

I meant given my situation. Currrently i have 6 miners on 2 120v circuits so putting all 6 on one 240v circuit i am still drawing the same amount of amps in total.

True. Just a bit less from the increased PSU efficiency.

How many outlets?

5. Half amperage allows me to double up on some outlets.

Got all of my stuff on a refitted 240V circuit.  30A breaker outside.  I think it was an old dryer circuit.  Have 8 750W power supplies running at about 60-70%

load each.  Used an inductance meter to measure before/after 120V to 240V switch, same load.  Netted about 120W reduction in usage and power cords that are

cold to the touch.  Anything warm on AC voltage side makes me nervous.  Small benefit but worth the effort I think. Smiley

The PSUs will be a bit more efficient on 240v, which will result in lower power draw at the wall.

I am in the process of setting up a space for 6 more antminer s1'S.  I curious if i would see any benefit running psus at 240 vs 120. My amp draw will be the same if i use 1 240v circuit or 2 120v circuit. Is there much difference in power consumption if the power supply doest have to double the input voltage?
