did you mean 16:59? because you said it ends if no bid is made in the 10 min extension period - in the case of your second scenario the 10 min extension is from 17:00 to 17:10 a bid is being made during the extension period - at 17:09 so, would not the auction be extended to 17:19?

Up for auction is this nice set of two 1 oz silver bars by Dignitas Designs, with matching serial number 13. The bars are not funded. They come in a capsule that has never been opened so the bars are in pristine condition (and they are shiny, which makes them a PITA to photograph! ) They are made very well and are really cool to look at (I am keeping set #12 for myself
