Bitcoin itself is an excellent investment when compared to the rest of the cryptocurrencies. In essence, it is the first mover storage of value as a cryptoasset in a world where there are thousands of ICOs launched by investors and organizations. Bitcoin is anonymous and completely decentralized. It is unique and inimitable as there will only be one Bitcoin ever.

So apparently 25% of affluent millennials hold cryptocurrency - are you in this category? Why do you hold crypto? How long have you been involved in crypto?

I'm in Bitcoin, I started two years ago when bitcoin price was 600$ then today I'm still in profit despite this bear market and obviously, I have sold some BTC at the top.

I'm holding btc because i believe that in the future the price will skyrocket and if you hold you will gain maximum profit if the price will boom. But i know the risks in holding so i'm just holding what i can afford to lose. Also i don't invest in banks because in our country many banks have glitches, some atm machines have card clonning installed by bad people to stole money and some people lose money in their bank accounts even if they don't withdraw money from it.

I do not belong to the millennial but I also have bitcoin in my wallet. I think that this is a revolutionary technology and people understand this, thereby introducing their means

You will probably get only "nope" answers for this question. Do you really expect that a rich young man (or woman) will stay in front of the computer posting in this forum when they get some free time, instead of having fun around the world?

I'm definitely not rich enough to be put in the 'affluent' category, so I would not be a part of that list Tongue

What's even more interesting about this article, is the fact that a majority of millennials does not trust banks in general.
They would not go to banks to seek investment advice, which is absolutely great in my opinion.

In my country, a lot of people were duped by one particular bank into investing in a high-risk investment, while they were told by the banks themselves that it was a very low risk investment.
A lot of people lost their entire life savings that way.

Well there are countries that a lot of people (young or middle age people) were tricked by banks into taking mortgage in the currency they don't earn (EUR or CHF) and as the effect, after the huge CHF price rise, they have houses worth 50% of their mortgage value. It is a 'no exit' situation with very profound social implications. They can't sell the house, they can't pay the mortgage. They even can't effectively divorce (welcome back to the 18th century). No wonder they don't trust banks anymore
