Back into crypto i go. Im putting 25k into ETN and will start diversifying this year i am hoping im able to get roughly about 40-60k more in by the end of the year. But what do you guys think about going all in with the first 25k into ETN? I will be a long term holder i really feel this stock will reach $1.00 by the end of 2018. Or should invest into multiple alt coins and sell off some ETN? I do plan on buying BTC, ETH, Substratum, Litecoin, and Ripple.

Of course Electroneum has good capitalization, but results in price of its coins are very ambiguous. I don’t see any clear reason to invest this big stack of money into one middle-sized currency with vague prospects.

Thats a risky move, try to invest 60%BTC and 40% altcoins in your trading and long term investment.

So let me summarize...
You have a huge load of money, and instead of taking time to analyse what you would like to invest to, and what is the clever move ; you ask random people that you don't know and you never saw what to do ?

Yep. But let us pretend as he managed to obtain those grands somehow, he previously heavily succeeded in choosing random people? May be he just has always chosen the most kind, clever, wonderful people whose clarity was lightening his way to the riches! So put your 25 grands into Ripple today (6517) take out 37 grands in January or February and return to your random angels.

If you have had taken my advice 3 days ago you could have necessary profit even before New Year.

I would recommend to seriously overthink decision to invest in ETN.
I have been looking on this project for past month and  right now to be honest it seems very weird because the ICO was BIG sucees by collecting at ~40 million USD but still they are listed only on one exchange .
Also I do not think that someone will actually mine on smartphone if you can get a much more better result on your mining rig.

You should never put all of your eggs in one basket. I think that you should diversify and invest in 4 or 5 different coins. I would suggest 30-40% in Bitcoin, probably same amount in Ethereum and the rest in smaller coins, but with good growing potential. I would suggest Cardano and Ripple. I just bought more of them and I am expecting good profit.
It is your decision, but have in mind that money you invest are money you risk and investing in different coins may limit your profit, but for sure will limit your risk!

ETN is a very good project in theory, but it seems that in practice people are not as interested in mobile mining as we thought they would be. I think it's really bad that it's traded only on cryptopia. Bigger markets could attract more people to this coin.
Investing in electroneum is a good idea, but 25k might be too much for this one. You really should buy the coins you stated (apart from substratum, perhaps) and you might think about buying iota as well, as the coin is very cool.

Well as for me, I would advise you to diversify they 25k, As we know and understand the risk involved in the altcoin market. Because of altcoin volatility not most good to put all your investment into one coin. I prefer you diversify, maybe you can invest more in the altcoin you knew that have more promising future.

If your comfortable with the risk and believe in the company you are investing in than go for it. I know a few people that have gone all in on a coin and have made enormous gains. Diversifying is obviously less risky but can slow gains. You have to be patient and committed to, if it dips and you sell out it will be costly. Other coins may moonshot around your and get tempting to sell out.

Large amount of money to be burned into a shitcoin, try to do some research and dont ask people of your possible gains nextyear. If i would invest it i will put 60% BTC and 40% alts just to be sure.,risk management is needed in cryptowolrd.

Just please tell me that you invest those 25k on a techno that you read and you checked the roadmap and the whitepaper ? Because if you put blindly 25K just because McAffee told it was a good idea, you'll have some bad times one day...

That's how a professional investor is workin nowadays. They call it 'wisdom of the crowd'.
Additionally such a thread offers the possibility to spread some fomo.

I prefer if you diversify. The market is volatile and we cannot predict what will happen in the upcoming months, just I ke what had happened to bitcoin, earlier this month, the just keeps increasig but then the network got congested, in which we do not have control, and that's the reason why altcoins' value had increasd,  we can learn from this, we needed our digital assets to be diversified, so if one coin will will loose its value, the others could compensate, it will just be up to you to check which investment will be best for you.
