your coins are in both wallets since they were both generated from the same seed. just use the 3.2.3 wallet from now on.

You don't need to sync your 2.6.4 wallet.

If you have imported the same seed (from your 2.6.4 wallet) to the current version of electrum, you should already see your balance (if you already have received funds to an address derived by this seed).

Can you verify, you really used the same seed, by comparing the 'addresses' tab ? Do you see the same addresses ? If not, what do the addresses start with (1.., 3.. or bc1..) ?

Hi Guys,

I'm quite new to Electrum and downloaded 2.6.4 from the UbuntuSoftware store - big mistake. After transferring some Bitcoin into the wallet, it stopped syncing and it now just has the blue arrows on permanently.

I subsequently realised that I should have downloaded the latest version from electrum.org, which I have now done and signed into it using the seed from my 2.6.4 wallet. As such, I have now got two wallets with the same seed in 2.6.4 and 3.2.3. However, the 2.6.4 version is still stuck on synchronising and I cant transfer out the bitcoin in it to the working wallet in 3.2.3.

I'm sorry to bother you with this, but I really need to get the Bitcoin out of the 2.6.4 wallet and any help or advice that you can provide to assist me doing this would be much appreciated. Do you know how to get the 2.6.4 wallet to complete synchronising and be online or do you know how to get my previous transactions showing in the 3.2.3 wallet?

Many thanks in anticipation.

Kind Regards,

Ubique
