This issue sounds just like one that circulated in here about a week ago.  Linked below.  You both appear to be having the same issue with wallets NOT created from SEED.

you are right... i looked over the electrum subforum, but didn't immediately see this thread, so i started a new one.

I'll now close this thread and announce in ranochigo's thread that i have exactly the same problem

Thanks!

i think it is best to open an issue on Github https://github.com/spesmilo/electrum/issues/new and you should include information like operating system you use, and more importantly how to reproduce the error again.

Will do, thanks for the link Smiley

I've upgraded to 2.7.12 a while ago, and i noticed some strange behaviour:
From time to time, wallets seem to "disappear"... If i go to "file -> recently opened ->" and pick a recently opened wallet, from time to time the wallet file is gone.

I've actually browsed to C:\Users\[my username]\AppData\Roaming\Electrum\wallets , and the pysical file is gone.

Now, this isn't a real problem for me, since i always save my private keys/seeds, so i can always just recover the wallet, i just wanted to post this report in case somebody else noticed the same behaviour, so there might be a bug or something? If nobody else sees this behaviour, it might be something on my local pc... Altough it's a work pc, so it's pretty clean.

Extra info: i think it's usually only the wallets that were generated by importing private keys, not the wallets that were generated from seed.
