To be honest, most people do not even know about halving, including me. Just checking here in the forum I heared of it.
They said it was going to rise to $20k by halving?
well ,, alot of things have been said. 20k, 30k even 100k. One word that has been overused is "Moon" .. to the moon!!!!
We will see how how things look in the next week or so. if it is still stable then we have found a new floor price and then we might push to 1000 USD Q1 2017
Since new mined coins need 100 confirmations before they can be spent, the halving effect technically would take up to 9 hours before taking effect.

I'm happy that nobody seems to be panic buying or selling. And I'm also happy that we got to watch the halving. 
Happy to watch the halving...? It was just a silent decrease in block rewards, that's it. I was more hoping for some heavy volatility as that would be very interesting.
