the technology is attractive, but the ICO was rubbish

every time someone buys BNT, new tokens are created from thin air, it is a bottomless pit  Sad

Profit impossible. THat is very dangerous because it means that people will lose interest and dump the tokens...price floor is only 12% of market cap so 12% will get their money back  Embarrassed

The team already added the response to the article, and I've surprised after know that the phill daian is the advisor for the competitor project of bancor. That means we are in the competition of crypto. Like bitcoin maximalist write an FUD to the ETHER  Grin

Just read about this and why augur, jaxx have voiced out against Bancor.
Bancor price is lower than ICO too. Hope people dont lose much coz of a shady ICO
People need to be more cautious with upcoming ICOs. Its not a sure shot in making money

I thought it was proven Bancor was a scam, but at least now this is sure and this can not be contested.

I don't see it as a scam, however the initial coin offering of Bancor was not logical. It's like money laundering or frauding people. That garbage bancor would not make 150 millions of dollars clearly.

yea. seems like there was something shady going on. Either that or people are just hoping to be in on the next big thing as soon as possible and got money fever. That's about the only way I can figure that much money was put into this.

Great article about the total shitshow that is Bancor.
Personally if I owned any of this coin I would dump it the minute it hits the exchanges.
My prediction is that it makes money at first, slowly drops as people realize its not a needed service, then burns to the ground when the shoddy code is exploited and becomes the next DAO.

I'll be sitting on the sideline for this one.

Thanks for the link. That is indeed a great article. The start of some interesting arguments in the comments section, too.

Products like Bancor is the reason why we'll soon be having an ICO crisis on our hands

Are you sure that is Bancor is one of main reasons?

Bancor raised $144m, what about projects that raised $1m and are now worth billions?  Dont you think they will be way more responsible when suddenly cryptomarketcap will go -x10

The fact that they raised so much money so quickly, with no workable product makes it suspect. The only reason why $144 Mn got invested is because there is an ICO mania going around.
Better not to take undue risks with this one.
