So your running both a Nvidia and AMD card in the same machine? If yes, take the Nvidia card out, driver and hardware conflicts. This is from personal experience. Your better off putting the Nvidia card in another machine to use for whatever else.

Yes I am.  I'm waiting for my new MB and extras to arrive before i can separate the two cards.  When I tried single card, I took out the Nvidia and uninstalled all drivers then reinstalled the latest catlyst driver.  With no luck.

As for the other codes posted above, I'm still running into the error stating i need to lower my TC before it starts to mine.  Anything over I-13 i get HW errors up the wazoo.

I'm having some issues with my 290x. I can't seem to get above TC 8192 without it erroring out on startup(decrease tc or increase...).  This card has never seen hashes above 560 Kh/s.

Current OC is Powertune +20, Mem clock-1500 core clock-1050

Here's my .bin file:
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1

cgminer.exe  --gpu-platform 1  --scrypt   -o stratum+tcp://XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX:3335 -u XXXXXXX.X -p X -I 13  --lookup-gap 2  -g 2  --thread-concurrency 8192 -w 512

(GPU platform 1 is because i have a gtx in platform 2 but even if i take out the gtx [and all drivers] same issues)

rig setup
win 7
16gb corsair ram
Asus 290x (latest drivers)
850W Corsair PSU
i7
P8z77-v Premium MB
CGminer 3.7.2

If you need any other info feel free to ask.
Thanks for your help!

try
-I 20 -g 1 -w 512 --thread-concurrency 32765

and then go with overclosk to 1000/1500

Try cpu 840 + mem 1350 and -I 20 (you won't be able to do anything else on your box with -I 20 though)

The key (I think) is gpu vs mem clock ratio and making sure the driver doesnt adjust the clock down because it's getting too hot. You should be able to set a higher TC though. Latest drivers?

I'm getting ~810KH/s ... I don't have the actual config on hand, since I'm at work. I got it to 880KH/s (with higher clocks), but then there were glitches... No HW errors in cgminer though, but it made me nervous Cheesy I guess the memory needed more voltage, but I couldn't get it to work stably.
