The 2nd gen are selling for way more due to the fact that the only real difference is you can jailbreak them.
(I sold one for twice the new price)

Compared with eBay prices it's not bad, if you want an apple TV specifically. Be sure to use escrow, unescrowed deals make baby bitcoiners cry.

I have a 2nd Gen Apple TV in wonderful shape that I have recently done an untethered jailbreak on, but I no longer need it! Just got an XBOX one. I'm interested in selling it for $150, or make me an offer. We may be able to work something out.
