So this is the e-code?

I will buy an online starbucks gift card and gift it to you, or I can gift it to myself and give you the card number and code.

How do you use these instore? Are the points transferred digitally to your account then you can send them to a card or something? Might be interested if they definitely work in the UK.

You use them to put on your smart phone device and then you download the app. All US and most Canadian Stores have a scanner that you are able to scan a bar code from your phone generated via the app which will scan and apply the gift card to your purchase. The code will not work in the UK if it is from the US unfortunately,

Yep. Every Starbucks I went to has a scanner. I'm still confused about the countries. Some people say it works, and some say it doesn't.

Could I return the points if they don't work or would you be willing to send me a small amount to try out (if they're able to be sent in such a way)? I'll buy both from you if they work.

PM me. I can sell you a $5 code for $2.5 in BTC for you to try out. There is a 99% chance that it would work.

According to the information I found a few posts up you'll be fine in the UK. That's from their official webpage. Also I've found the same information on several other webpages when I googled.

Working worldwide? Or US only?

Thanks

Im not sure. According to this: https://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20061209140317AAWCFO5, its US only. Sorry. Sad

I have bought the cards in USD, and used them in Canada.  I believe you can use them worldwide, starbucks has an automatic currency converter.  Not sure if you can redeem the cards ONLINE in that currency though, I always redeem them in store.

Thanks for the reply. You can always ask a starbucks employee. If you want, I can sell a smaller amount for you to try ($5 for $2.5 in BTC).

Starbucks Cards (including Starbucks Card eGifts) are accepted at most Starbucks locations in North America, including airport and grocery locations. Unfortunately, Starbucks Cards are not accepted in Germany at this time. Starbucks Cards can be used interchangeably at most stores in Australia, Hong Kong, Ireland, Mexico, the United Kingdom, and Thailand. Starbucks Cards issued in Greece, Japan, Korea, Russia, Malaysia, Singapore, and Taiwan may only be used in the country from which they are issued.

Also http://www.starbucks.co.uk/customer-service/faqs/card confirms that UK, USA, Canada, Australia, Hong Kong, Mexico, and the Republic of Ireland is in some kind of alliance.

I'm not in any of those countries to think it's doomed. Thanks anyway and good luck.

Awesome! Thanks!
