for me the best choice is corsair, because they use  good platform for their PSU
while in the case of evga you can't be sure of it, cause sometimes they use just no name PSUs, they put their name on it and set higher price, weird

2*1200w server platinum with breakout board (70$*2 + 10$*2)+cabling and pico PSU (50$)
You save 250$.

Give the link to OP, wheres OP can buy those part.

In my country, server PSUs costly more than consumer PSUs, and may in a few places has the same conditions with me. Server PSUs designed for running 24/7 at 360 days, no argue its durability would be more than consumer PSUs, and also more flexible to modified, but this kind noisier than a consumer PSUs.

You can see how many PCI-e cables and of course the efficiency of the PSU, personally I choose Corsair although a little more expensive.

Besides efficiency, you should pay more attention to the number of connectors, especially PCIe 8 (6+2), 6Pins and also Perip Connectors (Molex). Since you have 13 cards, so the number of connectors would be the essential issue.

As you said, you will use two PSU, and both will provide you enough connectors needs, I'll go for Corsair HX1200 1200W.

This is my old post about Consumer PSU list and specifications | Number of PCIe and 4-Pin Peripheral. May can help you.

which would you select, assuming they're about the same price:

A.  Corsair CP-9020140-NA HX1200 1200W 80 Plus Platinum High Performance Power Supply = $235 each on amazon.
B.  EVGA SuperNOVA 1300 G2 120-G2-1300-XR 80+ GOLD 1300W = $230 each on newegg.

they're for 12x 1070ti / 1080 rigs i'm building moving forward, lets say they use about 150w x 13 = ~2000w total. both carry 10yr warranty and have free shipping / no tax.

I'd select the platinum rated power supply any day. They're rated to lose less electricity to heat for every usable watt that goes into the cards.
