The rightful hashrate of RTX3060 should be 50 to 54MH per second but Nvidia did their thing anyways, I have a feeling that this won't last forever cos there will come a solution to mod drivers for this GPU but for now it's not a good buy
Hashrate RTX 3060 Ti - 61 MX / s
Hashrate RTX 3060 - 41 MX / s
RTX 3070 hashrate same as RTX 3060 Ti

I believe that your factor in buying a video card will be its price. The RTX 3080 has problems with hash rate drops due to overheating, so you need to pick out the right model, or you will have to change the thermal pads and lose the warranty.

The main problem is not a choice. The main problem is to find it. The best choice for me 3070->3060ti->3080->AMD. 3060 today gives you problems you have to decide. 3060 is the last choice for building a rig but it is possible to use it in home PC for mining.

Stay away from 3060.Nvidia has lowered by 50% the maximum hashrate the card should have and is near 25 Mhsh.It should be near 50 Mhsh but Nvidia has done so because they want this card to go to gamers who are in desperate need of cards. There is a workaround by using the 470 beta driver but it doesn't work always. The 3060 ti is the sweet spot from Nvidia in price-performance ratio but if not possible go with Rtx 3070 or Rtx 3080.

Consider rtx3060ti instead and you will smile, Nvidia are the ones responsible for the bad performance of 3060 when mining Ethereum, that card should perform near to rtx3060ti just like 1660 Vs 1660super and ti

Windows or linux ?
If windows, i woud go with 2x3060 - at least 75Mhash for 180W for 2,5k (thats the price for 2x3060) - (linux - 50 for 150W)
If linux i would go with 3080 - 96@220W (throtling is a big issue - somme drops to 50@150W, at least somme of my) for 3k - price for 3080.
I can tolerate 3080 under windows only if you`re a player, like i`m Cheesy - 92MAX :. but can hash 30-60 while playing simple games without RTX Tongue

CANT HASH WHILE I PLAY CYBERPUNK! Tongue Sad

Have you been living under a rock? 3060's have been unlocked for a while but you need 470.05 drivers 8x pcie slots and dummy plugs to get 46+ MH/s
I had 3x16PCIe, 2xdummy, proper driver and was not able to play this shit right....first always 45, rest 24.....

Thats because your motherboard doesn't support 16x speeds for all 3 16x pcie slots.  Usually its 16x,8x,4x or 16x,4x,4x.

RTX3060 sucks mate, that thing can only do 25MH on ETH and two of that would give just 50MH this is awful performance compare to RTX3080 which can give 97MH, the difference is huge unless you can find a way to unlock the full potential of rtx3060 cause I believe they can do more if not for Nvidia team imprisoned the card mining capabilities

Which one will you go for? Two RTX3060 or a single RTX3080?

1. Which one will save you lots of electricity ?
2. Which ones are more cooler than the other
3.  Which ones has the highest hashrate ( MH ) per second?

Only 2 x 3060ti or 2 x 3070 is better than 1 x 3080, know why? 3080 gddrx6 has overheating issues. So is betteer to avoid it at moment but all depends of the price, where I live a 3080 is being sold for 4k and a 3070 for 2.5k, a simple 3060 non ti is being sold for 1.5k, insane.
