hey
i have windows 10
Dual miner for ETH
2- 570 , 1- 290 cards
every hour or two the whole PC is just freezes..
i have script to reboot every 2 hours, but it doesnt help, since it can freeze in one hour...
sometimes i see
WATTMAN has crashed...
how can i solve it ? the screen just go black, and it doesnt mine...
First what PSU do you have, the 290 card consumes quite a lot and in dual mining even more. Second what board do you have, make sure in ASUS boards options like Above 4G is enabled in System agent/System Configuration in the BIOS, also make sure to switch the PCIE configuration from AUTO to GEN1. Last go and change the virtual memory to 32 GB and then report back here to see where the problems came from.
tnx for your time
i have 750 psu, the average Watt is about 600 . i have old motherboard, i do have 32 virtual memory, it was woking fine several days ago...
i start to think that more stuff connected to the same wall and maybe it gets electric bumps..
Unless you have a platinum rated and a well known brand of PSU, I am starting to think the PSU does not supply enough power to hold 1 x R9 290 card plus 2 x RX 570 especially in dual mining. I would suggest you start mining Monero as that algorithm needs less power from each card compared to dual mining.
In dual mining you are consuming 320 watt from 2 x RX 570 (I have these cards and tested at wall, 160 watt each dual mining) and I assume a 300 watt from the power hungry R9 series cards when dual mining, makes 620 watt plus since you have an old board it consumes about 80-100 watt so you are running at full speed 720 watt in a 750 watt PSU.
For me that points only to one direction, you PSU is tired and crashes. Try running at least a 850 watt PSU and if it's not the PSU then I guess it is the old motherboard.
