no , when I load it up on blockchain.info it says "Transaction not found"

If I update it will I get my BTC back or is that gone now ?
Backup your wallet files first.

Your coins will not be lost. The problem here is that your client is sending transaction that has high-s value and the network has stopped accepting them. Multibit Classic v5.17 fixed this issue and enforces the low-s value in transaction. Your transaction would then be able to get propagated and confirmed.

Check your fees, just in case.

Reset the blockchain once you have done upgrading.

Thanks alot - i've tried updating but its making me go for MultibitHD - so ill install that and reset the blockchain and move it all over.

Thanks for the help - hopefully its all good now Smiley

That might not work, I don't think you can import private keys from multibit classic into multibit HD.

You can download the latest classic from here.

https://multibit.org/releases/multibit-classic/multibit-classic-0.5.19/
Yup you can't.
You could try increasing the transaction fee in the latest classic by selecting view, then preferences. At the top of preferences there is a sliding scale you can use to increase the transaction fee.

Click reset blockchain and transactions afterwards and try sending with the highest possible fee if your wallet will let you.
Please don't. The problem here wasn't with the transaction fees but with how the transaction was structured. The update will take care of that and you can just pay about 0.0005BTC/KB of fee for it to be confirmed just fine.

I think the old version had an issue in determining the transaction rate and probably it has estimated a wrong transaction fees which is really low. It would be helpful if you could provide further information and more over it would be helpful if you could upgrade you software to avoid further complication.

Transaction Id? Can you find the transaction in block explorers such as blockchain.info?
If you can't find the tx in block explorers try updating your multibit. I seem to remember reading somewhere that this is an issue with older multibit classic and was fixed on later versions.

Hello ,

I have tried moving over btc before and never had an issue with it , now I'm trying to move btc from my wallet over to a website - I have made 3 different transfers to this website and not a single one has worked.

they all have "seen by 1 peer" and 0 confirmations - one has been like this for 3 days , the 2nd for 2 days and another for 3 hours - they arn't showing on the blockchain etc.

Whats happening / is there any way I can speed this up or get the btc back ? - I have around BTC.4 in limbo at the moment and really do not want to lose it !

My wallet is Multibit v 5.14 - I can't change the tx its all automatic apparently.

Cheers for the help.
