Yepp... just a little update in case anybody is curious:

You were right..

Allthough it saddens my that this system is so strange. I really had to wait until the first transaction confirmed (which took approx. 3 days) until the following transactions were able to process. Literaly making most of my money unavailable for 3 days because there was no way to either speed them up or cancel them. Of course it was me beeing "greedy" and trying to spend 5$ / transaction instead of 15$ for the first one.. but still..

Kind of akward and unconfortable. I knew the money is not gonna be "gone" or "disapeared" and was not particulary worried about it that much but i can very well imagine the panic for an "average" user who suddenly (because he doesnt know better) ends up with his whole balance unspendable for multiple days... i think there is a lot of improvement in this area

I understand that there is a backlog but how can it not confirm with those high fees? Arent the high fee transactions supposed to be confirmed first?
High Fees? You're joking right? Roll Eyes Tongue

Your fees were 50 sats/byte, 135 sats/byte and 250 sats/byte...  Fees are now 350-400+ Sats/byte... (ref: https://bitcoinfees.earn.com/ and https://btc.com/stats/unconfirmed-tx)

You first transaction had 50 sats/byte... your 2nd transaction is spending from the first unconfirmed transaction, so cannot confirm until the first one confirms... and your third transaction spends from the 2nd... so it cannot confirm until both the previous two confirm.

First trans = 958 (bytes) with 0.000479 BTC fee
2nd trans = 813 (bytes) with 0.00109485 BTC fee
3rd trans = 224 (bytes) with 0.0005575 BTC fee

=> 1995 bytes total with 213,135 sats total fees => average fee of 106.8 sats/byte across your three transactions.

End result? You're going to be waiting a while for these transactions to confirm Undecided

My suggestion: try and get your first transaction accepted on the ViaBTC accelerator... then once it confirms... do the same with the 2nd... then repeat with the 3rd... or wait... not much else you can do at this point Sad

I have just seen that a withdrawal of  that i've done prior to sending those transactions from bitfinex is showing as "pending" without a transaction ID

But it hit my wallet.. no idea if that has anything to do with it?

I tried that website yesterday to no avail.

On some transaction website i read that one of the inputs is unconfirmed. But i cant find what they mean. Within the ledger wallets all previous inputs show as confirmed in the wallet?

Any other ideas?

Hi guys,

I'm having an issue with some transactions.

First i have made a fairly cheap transactions by manually setting the fee to 50 sat per byte:

d1f1f90fdcd91553779b86bec922ff458f78f4d313c5781b5999a322989fe0b9

A few hours later I have made a "regular" transaction by selecting the "high fee" in ledger:

4ace258f226b032087105a6b6204be6ee2886981fb0899e5e9be6b97b1d7f712

Another few hours later I have made a manual very high fee of 250 sat per byte:

d4c8a051c606ff53eb0bd7f904fae1dcb2d6aaf885aa5e6d4ecc1ee20b82523a

All 3 transactions are showing up on blockchain.info but with 0 confirmations. The first one since 24 hours, the last high fee one since 12 hours.

What could be the issue? I've never had something like this before.

I have tried transaction accelerators etc. to no avail

Thanks for your help!

Unfortunately, right now there is a massive backlog of transaction due to the recent surge in investor activity. If you absolutely need these transactions pushed through early, I would try one of the premium TX accelerators such as http://confirmtx.com/

They have a clause in their agreement where if the transaction isn't confirmed within 24 hours you'll get a refund, since you're moving quite high amounts of BTC, it may be worth it despite the high costs.
