I have been taught by the friend who introduced me to the forum that the wallet itself sets an auto fee that gives the fastest confirmation than the manual fee set for the transaction confirmation.

OP, I have always tried ViaBTC and never got disappointed.
But, it sometimes shows "Submissions are beyond limits", can you please explain what is it actually and how to get rid of the same and get our transaction accelerated? BTW, your article was an in-depth one, completely explained everything except what I asked here.

Thank you OP for providing this information I was actually talking about his the other day and wanted to know how it works so this makes things much easier for me. It's interesting too.

Glad I was able to help Smiley I love ViaBTC's accelerator. Sometimes I have to wait until the next hour
to get my transaction to go thru their accelerator, but it's better than 8 - 10 hours or more.
When the network is busy 8 to 10 hours is not so bad I remember waiting 36 hours and I sent a decent fee, so if you can avoid sending when the network is busy then do it.

Even 10 hours is not bad. I have waited days. Once over a week but it was my own fault I was trying to be clever and "save" some btc but ended up making it worse. Up to 10 hours can be a problem it depends when you need the tradacrion done by normally I dont mind if I but something. If I trade I want to asap.

i have a transaction blocked . help please !

Here you go: http://bitcoinmafia.com/bittys-blog/3-ways-unstick-stuck-bitcoin-transaction/

There's a couple of ideas in there that might help. The tx accelerator over at ViaBTC may be
your easiest / best bet, especially if you're new to bitcoin.

ViaBTC have some hourly limits and with all the unconfirmed transaction out there and the service being known by more and more people, It could be hard for someone to accelerate his transaction. I recommend adding https://pushtx.btc.com/ (even though It's paid).

They ask 4.04$ for a transaction that was worth 18$. That accelerator seems a bit overkill to me, 87b61ad3e2099795eefc7e7e33ad82b1c295c21f8ffd38f889a2a6f1dbd3366b,
Am i doing something wrong, or is this normal for such a transaction?
If i would compare this to the free ViaBTC accelerator, there is no way it could compete with it.

No, I don't think you did anything wrong. I agree that 4 bucks is a bit much for an $18 transaction fee - that's almost a 25% tx fee
which is madness in my book. Better to try to get into ViaBTC's next hourly cycle.

No you did not anything wrong and the way I see it is not normal. But this is the policy of Bitmain and in reality you have to pay with fiat money (credit card). I believe that this service is completely useless. Currently, there are some processes like as RBF and CPFP which are offered by some wallets so I cannot understand the reason someone to pay this outrageous amount of money. The Bitmain CEO Jihan WU has already stated in his twitter account that money from this service will be given to support BU.

Yep - I noted in the blog post about ViaBTC's hourly limits. I'll add the other though and note that it is a paid option.

For you newbies (and not so newbies) who are getting frustrated with slow transaction times
I wrote a blog post that talks about various ways to unstick stuck bitcoin transactions:

1. Transaction accelerator

2. Opt-in Replace-by-Fee (RBF)

3. Child Pays for Parent (CPFP)

Here's the link: http://bitcoinmafia.com/bittys-blog/3-ways-unstick-stuck-bitcoin-transaction/

Cheers!
