did you check whether your ram is compatible with the motherboard?

When setting up my asus b250 mining expert, there were a couple of dimms (i can't remember what the model was, but one was a gskill and another was a crucial 2400) that refused to work with it, but worked fine with other motherboards.

did you plugged cpu power cables?
Is your mobo used?
If you purchesed all mobo from same person maybe mobos are dead. I dont think fresh cpu from box will be faulty, get one more mobo new or from friend and try again.

If the PSU shuts down there is likely a fault in the system. Do a visual inspection of all the components
and connections.

Incompatibility is a possibility. Doublecheck that all components are compatible.
Maybe the motherboard needs an updated BIOS.

Since you have changed the PSU, motherboard, CPU and RAM you effectively have 2
independant systems that fail. A double fault is possibility. Mix the components to try to find
a working combination.

Try testing components individually in a known working system. You can do this for the PSU and
maybe the RAM. This could eliminate a couple of possibilities.

Good luck.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah, I realized that there the X-Hero motherboard is incompatible with the G4560, so that explains why that doesn't work. But what could be the chance that all three CPUs are dead? Or both the b250 and the h110? All CPUs and motherboards where box fresh. I've also tried to change the RAM. I've tried Crucial Ballistix Sport LT Red DDR4 2400MHz 4GB and Corsair Vengeance LPX - DDR4 - 8. Same thing happens here.

I'm suspecting that maybe the BIOS is the problem here, but I don't see how I can update the bios, without a working CPU?

First off this is alt coin. question I asked mods to move it.

I will try to answer it. give me 10 min

g4560 from intel are pentium or celeron

i 9900k is high end 9th gen mobo supports high end 9th gen cpu correct?

https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/B250-MINING-EXPERT/HelpDesk_CPU/Pentium

on the list

G4560(3.5G,54W,L3:3M,2C,rev.B0,HT)

Pentium G4560T(2.9G,35W,L3:3M,2C,rev.S0,HT)

but the list does not mention i9 9900k

now you say the i 9900k is in a asus rig maximus x hero correct.

the g4560 is not supported by that mobo. the i9 9900k is

https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/ROG-MAXIMUS-X-HERO/HelpDesk_CPU/

so what can be wrong all 3 cpus are bad.

both the b250 and the h110 is bad.

or ram is bad.  so what ram are you trying with the 2 mobos?

the asrock says both the g4560 and the g4400 should work.

https://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/H110%20Pro%20BTC+/index.asp#CPU

I am capable of testing the cpu's for you in motherboards I have as I have multiple motherboards I know work with g4400's

But you opened new cpu's from new packages correct?

Hi everyone! For the first time I've come across a computer problem I have no idea how to solve. I am currently building a PC with an Intel G4560 (LGA 1151) processor and Asus B250 Mining Expert motherboard and Corsair ax 1600i PSU. Everytime I try to boot, the PSU fan and CPU fan start spinning, but shuts down after approx 3 sec. Then noting happens. I've changed every part of the system. This is the troubleshooting I've done so far:
- Changed motherboard to Asrock h110 pro btc+ (same thing happens here).
- Tried two other PSUs (Corsair RM 650x and Corsair RM1000x). These are confirmed to work in other computers.
- Changed RAM
- Reset CMOS (also taken out the battery)
- Tried in total 3 box fresh CPUs (2x G4560 and 1x G4400) all failing to boot
- Tried to put the CPUs in a computer I know work (motherboard ASUS ROG Maximus X Hero). Same thing happens here (no boot), but when I connect the Intel 9900K to this computer it boots as normal.
- The computer shuts down before post beeps, so I get no message or error code to follow.

Can you help me with this problem? As I've said, this is the first time I've come across a problem like this, and have no solution.
