The prereqs for this are taking a really long time to build (possibly because I'm running it on a VM which is only using one core).  I need to sleep, as it's 6 AM here.  I'll PM you my contact info.

Hi Chris, thanks for the interest. I'll go read up a little on MinGW.

I'd like to help you with this.  I've used MinGW before, though it's been a while.  I'm running through the build right now to make sure I get it right.

After wading through countless web pages and forum posts I have come to the conclusion that I still suck at compiling, so I'd like to pay someone for personalised tuition via skype (or similar).

Successful applicant should:

1. Recommend and help me set up an IDE and compiler for Windows XP sp3
2. Help me build a working "hello world" application (GUI, not console).
3. Walk me through steps required to build the standard bitcoin client from source (0.3.22+)
4. Help me personalize the code and build a modified exe.

I imagine this will require at least 10+ hours to do properly, as I'm sure to have many questions.

I can work around your time zone, but want someone who is available for at least a few hours each day on Skype or similar for real-time chat, and possibly 'screen share'.

Applicant should have already successfully compiled win32 bitcoin themselves.

I've worked with many different languages in the past but for the purpose of the tutorial, you can assume I'm a newbie.

Thanks.
