If this were true, it would be a major boost for bitcoin. But this doesn't seem that legit, so it's probably just another great way to lose your bitcoin.
No, it's probably just some guy who will accept your BTC and book the hotel room with his credit card online. It is not a major boost, even if it is true.

It seems like they book the hotel manually via Expedia...

The reservation form is a pain in the ass though  (shows blank Confirmation page after payment).
