My 3070ti is doing 80.68MH in hiveos, you need to find the right OC for your card, mine works stable at 2600Mhz Memory clock while someone I knew very well can't get his 3070ti to 2400Mhz without crashes.
Many miners use different memory settings for video cards from the same batch. If you are lucky, then one or two video cards out of 10 will mine 76-77 megahash, but the main thing is that the memory does not overheat. Not all of these video cards work stably at a frequency of 2600 Mhz

i found in my country PNY GEFORCE RTX 3080 - 12GB price drop to around 750usd  this card is good for mining or pick other brand is better?
How much do 2 PTX 3060 Ti graphics cards cost in your country?
Most of the RTX 3080 video cards have memory heating and hashrate drops. This is solved by replacing thermal pads with thermal paste or buying a good closed case. I would not advise you to buy this video card first for mining, if you are not an experienced miner.

There is another solution, but a lot of miners don't see this or don't want to pay extra. Gpu models with better coolers are a bit more pricier because not just the coolers but also the higher clocks.

For example i have 3080ti suprim x and gaming pro, temps are not even close.

3080ti palit gaming pro width is smaller (1 inch) than zotac 1080ti amp extreme, the weight i didn't measure but 3080ti is even lighter

That 1080ti is even cooler at 300w than that 3080ti at 300w.

Watts is watts = heat.

My standard for coolers for gpus that can pull 300w is like that of zotac 1080ti amp extreme, the msi suprim x exceeded those, they are better.
So the problem is not in coolers, but in thermal pads, so the memory overheats and the hash rate drops. After replacing the thermal pads, the problem is solved. If you use the fans at full capacity, it will break them. The problem is not always solved by buying expensive video cards. There are a lot of things to consider before building a mining farm.

Yeah, thermal pads are problems but even if they can transmit the heat a 100% (no loss), you will be limited by the heat sink(metal quantity and airflow design). Even if you use the best of the best thermal pads and the heat sink is just 100grams of metal, you are not going to cool those cards whatever you do....maybe by putting them infront of an AC will do lol.

Here is an example: 290/290x, when they are released the coolers are not enough, then same chip (refresh) 390, bigger cards, bigger coolers then the true potential of 290/290x are realized.
I had R 390s and they were very hot too. But they were much better than the R 290.
But if we are talking about heatsinks for the 3080ti/3080, then these models have high-quality cooling, and when replacing thermal pads, the problem with the hashrate drop ends.

Not all have high quality cooling, palit 3080ti gaming pro is one. Just pointed it out that there are 1080tis that have better coolers(bigger) than some 3080ti, they are all good enough but in mining where you are reaching the temp limit of your mining area, you may have the chance to add 3-5 more gpus compared cheaper coolers (the room might get a bit hotter but the cards can handle it).

I just observed, didn't look at the datasheets but 1080ti core is hot vram(gddr5x) is not as hot as gddr6x, now 3080ti, core is hot plus the vrams(gddr6x are hotter than gddr5x), imagine that 3080ti has a smaller cooler than the 1080ti.

The 3080ti suprim x has exceeded the size of that 1080ti..suprim x is a superb cooler.

With a little bit of oc in hive OS the 82mhs can be reached quite easily but the real question is it worth it? With a consumption of 180 watts is for me an high energy-consuming gpu perhaps cards a little lower 3050/3060 with a few less hashes have a better consumption-performance ratio
RTX 3050 is a weak video card for mining. You need a lot of wires and a lot of raisers and also a lot of space, and why, when you can buy better video cards. Moreover, any models are now available at good prices, and there are a lot of good offers on taobao.com

Hello guys

Im curious for those who can push this cards +80mhs

How you do it lol ? Would like to see if some people can't reach that too

I got 4 of them and none can go over 76 stable under hiveos
100% LHR Unlock 3070 TI Hive OS Setting T-Rex 0.26.3 190w @ 84mhs
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ucWZ4CERy3Q
It is better to lose a few mega hashes but get stable mining. Experiment yourself if you do not have problems with memory overheating.

what model evga 3070ti you use  mem temp is max 76C. right?
In this video, this video card is tested. Memory temperatures are great, but fans run at 85% of maximum.
EVGA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti FTW3 ULTRA GAMING
https://evga.com/products/product.aspx?pn=08G-P5-3797-KL
I saw the memory temperature in the range of 80-90 degrees, the video shows an excellent result.

Bad card in my opinion. The normal 3070 is much more efficient and no GDDR6X problems. I think your Memory is to hot or bad luck - silicon lottery

3070 - 62mh@115w = 0,54mh per watt
3070ti - 80mh@180w = 0,44mh per watt

That is the best hash rate geared to the power consumption I believe to be 50% or like near 180 Watt.If you want to go to that over 80 and the maximum of near 82 I think you should let the power at 100% plus the normal overclocks which are for this card

Core clock (Locked) at 1550
Memory clock for HiveOS or any other Linux distro at +1700

I think you are getting the best performance/power consumption ratio at near 77 Mhsh,if you want more I think it depends on the power factor or also in the memory silicon,if it is samsung, hynix, micron or elpida, they all act differently.
Keep in mind though that this card is with Gddr6x and if you run it at full power chances are big for memory temperature to go over 100 degrees and start throttling if you don't have good cooling for the card/rig.
