Are there no LHR RTX3070Ti and RTX3080Ti ? The reason I asked is these cards aren't labeled LHR on every crypto calculators I know, only 3070,3080,3060 has LHR on them, is this true or not? The reason why I'm not buying this new Nvidia cards is because I don't want to end up with LHR cards
https://www.julianocaju.com.br/info/lhr.asp
-" all 3070Ti and 3080Ti are LHR"
I did not plan to buy these cards, but what I heard is that the hash rate on the Ethereum algorithm and Ergo (ERG) is decreasing on them.
Please see the reviews for the model you want to purchase before buying.
If you have one start mining conflux even on 3070ti it's stable and presently the most profitable as well, not all algorithms can be blocked for this graphics card, it's almost impossible, do your own research
I did not say that the hash rate is reduced on all algorithms on LHR video cards.
I don't see any reason now to buy those video cards that are constantly getting cheaper.

this is absolutely nonsense from Nvidia
wdym by nonsense? from their pov, doing this is absolutely acceptable. they can create an advertisement that gives a good image for their customers (esp gamers), and get more profit. plus they can easily design a new product line dedicated for mining, so it's a good solution for them. not saying it doesn't suck tho.

So say I am a gamer and own two rigs with good 3080 cards.

the resale on a good 3080 is about 20% higher than a lhr card.

So my 3080 dies having never mined.

They choose to send me a LHR replacement.

To me that is the makings of a class action lawsuit.

I wonder how often this has happened?

Do not buy those cards unless your seller can guarantee that they are non LHR, buy AMD instead or go for 3090 which has no LHR brands till date also we have rtx20** too, the only Nvidia GPUs I'm buying presently are the gtx variants (1660s and 1080ti ), there are few AMD GPUs that are as good as Nvidia when it comes to efficiency e.g 5500xt 5600Xt,6800xt
I would definitely not buy a 1080ti graphics card right now. They are hot and very difficult to find in good condition.
If the LHR versions are limited by the hash rate on only a few algorithms, then nothing bad will happen. Miners will buy them again. I think that the miners who mine on old video cards, on the contrary, are glad that the new Nvidia video cards are going to mine other coins and not Ethereum.

I bought a 1080ti and it's working perfectly with some Vega 56, actually the seller used the 1080ti for gaming only, yes its true that 1080ti consume much energy but they are good for many algorithms apart from ETH
Are you talking about one card?
If this is an isolated case, then you are in luck. But where can you find 10 graphics cards?
I see many such sellers, but I don't even try to ask them questions about mining, if I see that he sells several old video cards that are almost like new Smiley
At what price did you buy it?

They will lose a big market share from this as gamers do not buy as many graphic cards as miners do,maximum they buy is 2 to SLI those cards together. The only true beneficiary from such move is AMD which has in no way until now plans to lower the hash rate of their graphic cards.Of course the miners will buy more AMD cards compared to Nvidia LHR cards and from Nvidia they will only go for the moment for the RTX 3090 which has no LHR version yet.AMD sales I am sure will go up during the September-December timeline.
Yes i agree. Nvidia going to lose some here but i believe they will disable this lhr if it goes real bad. Also pay attention after this lhr stuff amd cards did not lost price much like nvidia did. Normal gamer will also avoid this cards because gamers also turn on mining during night Smiley

I heard latest lhr cards are low hashrate in all coins Sad
We used see lhr cards were only limited in eth and ergo but now all algos are limited. Is this true? Did anyone came across such a card?
Ravencoin is affected I heard this from a friend, I used to think that ETH algorithm is the only one affected but now I'm even hearing that the LHR has v1 and V2, this is absolutely nonsense from Nvidia
Thats too bad. last hope for raven also dead.

You can avoid LHR cards if you have a good supplier, on china market right now sellers are even labeling their cards as LHR and Non LHR with their prices visible, this is what I did to avoid buying the wrong one free

They were invented with the LHR built in.Then the other cards you mentioned followed.I am not saying that each and every card is LHR but a lot of the RTX 3070 ti and RTX 3080 ti are indeed low hash rate and this is especially true in Ethereum mining where the RTX 3070 ti has only 45 Mhsh performance in mining.Do a really careful research before buying any of these cards or you will indeed end up wtih LHR cards if you are not vigilant.
