TPS alone does not matter. TPS among a dozen other factors matters a lot.

for starters when you say "TPS" it usually means the theoretical ability to handle that many Tx per Second not practical. the practical is usually below 0.001 TPS for most coins.

then we have the issue with decentralization. if you are talking about a centralized network then you should compare it with other centralized networks like VISA (24000 TPS or 150 mil per day) but when decentralization comes in then there will be limitations. you have to have enough nodes that are capable of doing this and keep doing it every second of every day for a long time not do it for 1 day and then fail to keep up because of the high traffic that it demands and end up centralizing the network.

3750TPS in a single shard - testnet

What do you guys think?
It's still centralized and i can't believe until the node will spread around the world. How much tps will useful for the platform which gained a lot of demand dude. If the platform has no demand and it will be useless.

Of course TPS matters especially if this is a project similar to Ethereum or Zilliqa. You'll have to see how exactly they reached this 3750 TPS - this is questionable.
