I have heard all this week that transactions became fast again. And that's not true. Yesterday I transferred on my exchanger 0.01 BTC with hope that such little sum will pass fast and I will use to cash it out buy the good price, yesterday it was 2600+$. Today price fell down to 2200$ and my coins still "aviating". Will we ever see fast transactions again or we will have to live with that and see how we loose the possible profit?

Tried 3 times at XX:00 and site is unavaiable, then even before XX:01 "Submissions are beyond limit. Please try later."

Beyond trying to spam their website with continuous attempts, there is nothing you can really do. Poolroom is bloated, network is congested.
Eventually your transaction will be confirmed, as your fee is not tragically low. Did you just created this TX to be fit for ViaBTC's TX accelerator?

You other option is to rebroadcast this transaction with higher fee.

Have you actually tried the ViaBTC TX Accelerator within the first minute of a new hour? ie at 11:00:01 or 13:00:05 or 02:00:10 or 17:00:20 etc etc?

I just did one 20minutes ago at 22:00:01 local time... Boom! Acceleration Succeeded. Make sure your computer time is synced to an internet time server and try and submit in the first few seconds of a new hour.

Yup, just 1 hour ago and I got 404.
I'ill try in 5 minutes...

Can you guys possibly help me too?

My tx: https://blockchain.info/tx/f5e60878d51accf396f6decba27bf826fbf0570e4af01b7ffa1f2bae06fe1d57

It's 4 days now, it was send from blockchain wallet, I never suspected that default fee will be so low :-/

I tried to use viabtc accelerator many times - it always says 'beyond limit'.

Funny, seems tx failed and coins are back on my sender addr, thanks anyway!

edit: it's back there unconfirmed :-/

Fees were paid $0.09; a bit low but didn't imagine it could be this bad to get it confirmed.

4 days! Nice!
It not bit low but its indeed very low just like other member said above and expected it will be confirmed longer.Just like mine I have accidentaly put low fee butt ive waited 2 days max.It really sucks but we cant able to reverse transaction once being sent.If you do like on fast confirmations then you should willing to put huge fees.

It is known fact that transactions became more slow from the last couple weeks. I also was waiting 4 days to my transaction be confirmed. I suppose such situation is going to become normal from now. Explain me if I am wrong.

I had this problem for a few days. I paid .002 in transaction fees on my .03 btc transaction. It was higher than the recommended amount. The first time, the coins got sent back to me. The 2nd time I tried to send it, it took about 2 days, but it finally confirmed. Also, blockchains website wouldn't load up and let me see my wallet either. It's now working after the transaction confirmed. I think they may have just been having issues.
Yup. It has confirmed over night for me aswell now. Pretty weird though, the recommmend fees are still way higher, and there are a shit ton of transactions in the pool.

Hello,

I have same problem,I used blockchain.info  web wallet with recommended fee for one transaction and another transaction with a high fee but both of them are unconfirmed.

1st txid: https://blockchain.info/tx/8b5ab314340ad1215e26e4d9a49593101ec43fcc38035ebca7ef28226e63a5b2
2nd txid: https://blockchain.info/tx/1b97a0c6e34499fd794d1af6c7ca751e14b80c8756663caae6eea62a84c2787e

I will never use blockchain.info web wallet,it is lie about the recommended fee.I think half of unconfirmed transaction are from blockchain wallet,If I use a high fee they recommend me to use a low fee Smiley

Yeah blockchain.info is absolutely crap. My transaction stuck too.

It is not recognized by VIA BTC because fee are tooo low.
I do not get any reminding from blokchain.info about low fee. It was just fine to send with less than 0.001

What can I do more?

I have the same problem as you, blockchain doesn't confirm it, viabtc isn't working, and i can't rebroadcast it. just received an answer from another member, which i am going to try. I am not sure if it is going to work, but i guess i'll find it out pretty soon. See the guide for yourself over here,

"If you don't know what you are doing, I wouldn't suggest it."
So, please don't held me responsible if it doesn't work. Wink

It is all to do with block size, BTC is too bloated to handle its 1mb or whatever, so something has to give.

Unconfirmed txs are often those that paid less than others. It is not what BTC was about when it started, but it is a way to deal with the issue.

The bitcoin developers could perhaps pull their fingers out and do some work to dig BTC out of this mess.

the ViaBTC Accelerator is not a magic tool that insta-confirms your transactions. It is just a way of prioritising your transaction into a block... that is mined by ViaBTC

So, until ViaBTC actually mine a block, your transactions probably won't confirm.

For the record, those transactions are actually in the wrong order... they should be:

1st: https://blockchain.info/tx/1b97a0c6e34499fd794d1af6c7ca751e14b80c8756663caae6eea62a84c2787e
2nd: https://blockchain.info/tx/8b5ab314340ad1215e26e4d9a49593101ec43fcc38035ebca7ef28226e63a5b2

Doesn't change the fact that they're both super low fee... and the 2nd one is spending the (unconfirmed) output from the 1st one... so until the 1b97 tx confirms, there is 0% chance of the 8b5a tx confirming...

As neochiny said... blockchain.info "dynamic" fees are completely broken... they are just sending pretty much ALL transactions with a "fixed" 120 sat/byte fee... and then everyone comes here to complain  Undecided

I used 4 slots from ViaBTC Now I wait to confirm.I hope will work the viabtc service.

Confirmed. Thanks very much to viabtc developers,we save me.
For other members who have same problem,at the top of every hour try submit your txid on viabtc, not use many spots, submit 1 or two, more members need help Smiley.Submit in correct order is very important.

Both of them has got low fees.
1st tx : Transaction size 437 bytes and you paid 102.7sat/byte while
2nd tx : Transaction size 258 bytes and with a fee of 105.116sat/byte.
You could try viabtc's accelerator. It's only got 100 slots hourly so try to get in early.

Blockchain.info's dynamic fees is one of the worst. Which is why, you either calculate your own fees or at least check the suggested fees from https://bitcoinfees.21.co/

The problem seems to be that whomever sent you those coins, was using outputs from unconfirmed transactions... it is further complicated by the fact that a lot of nodes have dropped your transaction (and the ones before them)...

for instance, your transaction: 310fdc1c983ac895fa05dfaef0924c8f21b5ee0060955b01df1efbd2b548656a

is waiting on: b6fc1998eb10dddfa787680ae0293adbf9dc4d714e3dc84493b17384a3afa13d
which is waiting on: 57f43f0570493a609572bcc44b985b910835013ac688826bb7978d3d54b50bd9

If you were receiving these coins as payment for something, I hope you have not sent any goods/products or provided any services. There is a chance you will not receive these coins as the transactions are likely to drop from the network and the coins will be effectively returned to the sender.

I accelerated your tx with ViaBTC tool, when they mine one of the next blocks they'll include your transaction too.
So all you have to do is wait a little more.

What wallet software (or website) did you use to send the transaction?

Hey Danny,

It's actually one of our customer's transaction on our shop EarnBitcoins.info/blog/shop.

We use GoURL plugin for the shop and this happened :/

a "bit low"? Huh ummm try "extremely low" Roll Eyes

Your transaction: "Fee per byte 22.92 sat/B"

Blockchain.info already dropped it from mempool and with this fee I expect the others do the same.
There's a good chance the transaction will be dropped or, if your wallet does that, rebroadcasted until the network will be less busy.
https://btc.com/stats/unconfirmed-tx shows over 100MB mempool; the transaction would have been okay at some 10-15 MB mempool, I guess...

Your transaction: "Fee per byte 22.92 sat/B"

whereas the current recommended removes are more than 10x what you used:
The fastest and cheapest transaction fee is currently 280 satoshis/byte, shown in green at the top.
The current best transaction fees 243 Satoshis/byte | 0.00243 BTC/KB

Pay low fees, get low service...

Whoah ! 20 Sats/byte. That was extremely low. I am not surprised why your transactions was not yet confirmed for more than 4 days from now. I thought the recommended fees was 110 sats/byte. Now it is 243 sats. Well I think it is because Bitcoin is having more and more transactions to be confirmed per day. It is because more and more people are engaging to Bitcoin. Hence, the fees we are paying will increase also if we don't want our transactions to be stuck in the Blockchain.
