Looks like OP sent bitcoin when his wallet is not sync well.

I ever have this problem with multibit wallet, and the solution it was to reset blockchain and transaction.

If can't be done i try to export my privatekey into another wallet.
As long as you have the inputs unspent, it doesn't matter if you synchronized or not. If it's spent, the transactions won't even propagate in the first place.

I sent some bitcoin this morning to myself, and it is going on 4hrs with no confirmations. I can see it on the block-chain, but there is no confirmations.  Anything I can do?
I'm not sure if there's anything you can do other than increasing the miner's fee, but this is one of the major drawbacks of using bitcoin.  Four hours is just ridiculous if we ever expect btc to gain function as a currency.  On a related note, I bought some physical silver recently, and it was such a fucking hassle that it would have been much easier to just pay for it with cash.  It wasn't just the transaction time in this case, it was the Mycelium wallet.  When stuff like that happens, it really makes me doubt the utility of bitcoin.

His transaction is now confirmed and got over 151 confirmations so there is nothing to worry about guys . (I know because he posted the TX ID before but edited his post , I guess he just want to be anonymous) .

The network can't handle current transaction volume, there's a permanent 2 or 3 MB of unconfirmed transactions, you should change currency, if there's a spike in bitcoin interest network will not be able to handle all those new transactions and you'll be unable to spend your coins.

So... Was it some sort of wallet error? Does this happen on online wallets like coinbase or blockchain.info.

i usually encounter this slow transaction issue too, anyone know a good fee to include such that the tx gets atleast 1confirmation within an hour?
Use cointape.com as a guideline and you would most likely be fine.

Oh, wow! Cool site, never heard of it, but I'm going to use it now whenever I Gamble. Cheesy

Thanks for the site, anyways.

I had a similar situation when I used Multibit. You have to restart all transactions..
In Multibit it was in Main menu -> Tools -> 'last position in menu' (don't remember name)
it's reset blockchain and transactions. I'm not sure if it does the job when the transaction still exist in the mempool however.

There is something you can do actually ... you can start by giving us the transaction link and tell us what is the wallet you used to make this transaction .
Nevermind. I just hit "Clear unconfirmed transactions" and restarted and it is back

What the....

What??

How did you manage to do that? What wallet were you using? What was the tx id??
For Bitcoin Core, use -zapwallettx to remove any TX that you don't want. But you have to wait for the mempool to drop your transactions as most nodes don't relay a transaction spending the same inputs that is unconfirmed.

I just checked , the transaction seem to be just fine since you paid the fees and it says High priority on blockchain.info website , so I guess all you can do now is wait more time . If it doesn't get confirmed at all (which I don't think going to happen) bitcoin should eventually go back to your wallet .
