Does it matter if you mix and match brands, or would you go all the same brand?

Ya lol, bought the psu first, was gonna go quad 280x, but had to slam the breaks a little bit.  Maybe I'll sell the psu, and get a smaller and go 750ti... i dunno ugh...

If you are going to stick them all in a standard case and you are worried about size you may want to consider the 750Ti's simply for the heat factor. Also 1500w is way, way overkill for a 3 card rig regardless of which you go with. You could get away with a 600w with the 750s and 850w with the 270s.

Hhmm seems like overwhelmingly, the 270 is more popular.  Have you guys seen the new version of cudaminer, puts out 300-320mh/s, but hhmm you think 480 for the 270?

Would 3 of these running plugged into mobo be a heat issue?  Kind of need it stealthy (size wise, not really noise), so just gonna use a gaming case filled with fans.

I got this mobo, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128594

and already have a 1500w PSU (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817256054)

My original plan WAS to go with 270 or 280, then I heard about what the 750ti could now do, so I started re-thinking.

forget about 750ti

R9 270 can reach up to 450K,as twice as 750ti's capacity

I'm trying to decide between these two setups.  I can either go with 4 750ti.  I have 1 now that gets about 300kh/s and i think I could get it up a bit with a powered version.

I don't have a 270 but hear they get around 400kh/s

270s are $250, and 750ti are $150.  Plus I would need to spend a little more on a PSU for the 270 setup.

obviously the 270 setup is more expandable without having to build another rig and with the right PSU

Whatcha think?

Edit: i forgot to mention these are just about the best setups i could afford right now
