I received an email today from this [email protected] email address of fake uni airdrop. I think scammers are trying to scam crypto users by sending these emails. They have somehow collected the data of crypto users and now they are sending fake giveaway links in those emails.
I'm sure the scamer collects email data from bounties who publish it in forums or in undiscovered spreadsheets and they steal a lot of data to send lots of spam emails to him, I suspect.

I also just saw on the Facebook group many newbie people who ask whether this email is legitimate or fake it means there are still many people who are unfamiliar with things like this, imagine if they install the application maybe all assets will be lost by the virus that has been implemented.

I also just received an email notification about the UNI airdrop by having to click through the software that was downloaded, of course it was a malware virus that they had provided. Damn they are now spreading it again with a different email, I'm sure there will be as many email notifications as I did.

Limited in number. Limitless in potential.
Anything related to sending x amount to an address and/or downloading a file to participate an airdrop is really suspicious and should be avoided.

Scammers and hackers always have things in common, to lure its target from a simple send and download. Please be careful to such emails and don't ever used your personal email to join to any related crypto related giveaways, accounts, hyip sites, etc. to avoid receiving random emails from scammers and hackers.

Two days ago I have received an email about uniswap 400 UNI Airdrop. But it is deferents from the OP. The email came from n.yobit@yahoo. com this email.

And told about the site in the form is below. Don't click on this.
Code:
https://uniswapclaim.com

People need to download a software. that means the file is full with malware. Don't fall into these trap guys. And don't think money is so easy to earn.

I have checked their website and its a complete fake giveaway. Whenever you will click on the "claim" button it will automatically download a corrupted file which is risky for your device.

Take a look here,

Nice catch if you noticed some links on the fake website are true but the most relevant one lead you to download the file, they make it look legit they are targeting those who are still looking fro UNISWAP some people exploit every available hype, if you are greedy you will fall victim to this

If you have never traded on Uniswap before September 1, you will never receive 400UNI. This is the law, so all UNISWAP related messages sent to our mail are fake, ignore them and don't manipulate them.

Even with that information, some people tend to think that what if this is another of those airdrops that only a closed group of people will have access to. The thumb rule is to never trust something that has the name of an already pumped idea like YFI or UNI. If it resembles the name, never click on the link sent to you in mail, chat. TG etc. Go to the original website and see if there is something about it. To be safe, just never click on e-mail links about "free money".

The only "airdrops" you should safely apply to are the ones that only ask for your ETH address and probably a retweet and a mention. Anything that asks you to put in money before they put it themselves is a scammer. There are a lot of young solidity devs out there who actually WANT to build things and are looking for exposure. Those are the kind who will never go to the trouble of collecting e-mail IDs and sending targeted messages. They simply take to twitter and try to grow organically. Its the scammers who you will keep hearing about even though there is no novel code or idea.

Obviously they have implanted a Malware virus in the file so this is clearly the phishing that has been spread in the email.

I think this is not the first time there will be lots of fake airdrops that will continue to spread through various things and at the core will awaken those who don't know like newbe.

Thanks for sharing the info, that's a rather obvious form of scamming, I like how the second step you have to complete is to download a program to your device, after the second step they already own the device so other steps won't matter anyway, they really used to be more creative than that before, if you fall for these types of scams crypto space is not a place for you.

Hello everyone, i received a mail from scammers team by offer 400 UNI fake airdrop. So be careful before put your personal wallet address. I hope everyone know about it, Uniswap airdrop ended before 1st September even now there have no announced about new giveaway. However, uniswap team never sent you mail for getting personal wallet address details, because it was related transaction by metamast wallet.
