Slush confirmed this IP is associated with his pool. the reason of this was hidden, now it's more clear.
I don't have any reason to hide my blocks. I even put '/slush/' into the coinbase

It's just mailserver with running bitcoind and helping the block propagation. I don't see any magic involved.
