This sort of thing has happened before when a country tries to ban a site via BGP, but their ban propagates to other countries. It's a terrible system. That may be what happened here.

Seriously wasn't trolling... idk what just happened but about 10 minutes ago when I loaded it I got a single page in some other language that translated to: this has been taken down for criminal actions of 4chan.org, blah blah, and cited some law and the law's ID number.
