I'm not into fancy TVs but they got some 4K TVs at work and sweet jesus do they look good.

Agreed. 1080p is sooo mobile phones only these days
I've had my 2560 x 1600 monitor for 7-8 years now and have had to show many people how sexy it is for games vs. some crappy 47" 1080p panel.

You guys are missing the point. That is a single pixel from the TV. Just look at the quality!
