you can have them occupy the same space just fine with a normal open frame rig, instead of spread all the components on a more wide base, you put above it without any space between them or 5 cm at best

Hi Guys,  I have a four single and dual GPU rigs. Due to them using a lot of space and also to save power I am thinking of creating a couple of 5/6 GPU rigs.  I am looking for a decent case that will take 5/6 x GPU's (either on risers or direct to a mobo).  I dont mind if it is a rack mount or floor standing case but I need the solution to be enclosed and tidy.

As an alternative I have been looking into PCIe expanision chassis - not sure if anyone has made use of these sort of things for mining?

Also I dont know if this would be any use http://www.itinstock.com/dell-poweredge-c410x-pcie-expansion-chassis-w-16-x-nvidia-tesla-m2070-6gb-gpu-43363-p.asp?gclid=CI-Iq-Gxo9ACFUcQ0wodbi0LgQ ?

Anyone got any good advice?

Many thanks
