OK, all fine now!  Grin
Put out the bios battery for about 5 minutes and installed the gpu driver with the modified inf files.
That was it.
I had contact to AMD support before and they told me, that it isn't their fault: driver supports as much gups as i can plug in.
Bloody liars!

Thx again to all!

That wasn't a problem yesterday.

I'm running 4x AMD 270x well under Win 7 x64 (6GB RAM, 1500W PSU)
Now i'm trying to install 290X without any success (always error 43 in Win).
Tried to install Linux whole day, but i'm too dumb for that  Wink
Is there anybody who has 5 or more R9 270X (280X/290X) on 1 Mainboard with Win 7?

A lot forum ppl say its possible but you need special driver but it would be easier if you use win 8.

I've just assembled a 5 gpu rig. Granted, 5 x 280x but the only driver I could use to make it work was this: https://litecointalk.org/index.php?topic=11761.0

Followed the instructions but I had to update the drivers twice, dunno why. Be prepaired for a lot of screen flickering/shutting off for a good while when updating the drivers at itll go through all of the cards.

Needs to be noted though, no idea if this'll work for you with 270's and 290. But it looks like it could.

Edit: oh yeah, im on windows 7 x64

I tried to build this rig with an Asrock H81 Pro BTC.

It seems that the new AMD beta driver causes the problems with the low hashrates.
Spend about 16 hours to fix that, but no clue.
I'm back now to Catalyst 13-12/Win7 x64 and hashrates are proper again.
But 1 270X lies bored on the table now...  Sad

Yup, tried Win 8.1 last night, but without success. I cant get the same speed with 1x 290x and 4x 270x.
I'm back to Win 7 now with 4 cards 1x 290X + 3x 270X).
Dunno why i can't manage to get the same hashrates under Win 8.1.
I tried the same settings as under Win 7, but the latest WHQL and BETA drivers kept crashing...  Huh

I would be interested to know what motherboard you are running?

For 5 gpu under Windows 7 you have to use 12.6 drivers....or the last GPU will not work (yellow exclamation in device manager).  With 7950's it hashes full speed no issues...on newer GPU you will loose speed with the old driver.
