1.)
run:
aticonfig --adapter=all --odgt

If you can see all 6 cards, then the issue is with cgminer. This is not likely because you would have seen initialization errors when you start cgminer or you would see disabled gpus.

2.) testing cgminer:

walk through starting cgminer with each card by adding a "-d 0" though "-d 5". See if you can determine if it's specifically 1 card. If you can identify one card that doesn't function, then move that card to another pci slot. Consider tetsign it with a different riser cable or without one. Consider hooking it up with different power cables to eliminate the possibility of a bad cable.

On one of my rigs, I had 4 cards and only 3 were detected. This issue turned out to be a bad power lead for me. On one of my other rigs I had 5 x 7970's and it only detected 3. I was able to see only 3 in aticonfig. It turned out that even though my board had 7 pcie slots. I could only detect cards in 4 of them. 3 simple would not work. All cards were tested in other motherboards and wrked fine. It was just this particular motherboard.

After this, I stopped using gigabyte motherboards for servers with more than 3 cards. Now I only buy asrock.
