as a bitcoin user the only tool that you will ever need is a bitcoin wallet and nothing else.
No, we can not ignore the use of block explorers. They are being used as transparent ledgers for cross checking which will not be possible with any fiat nor PayPal similar services too.
Other than block explorer I am often using blocktrail for setting up optimum transaction fees.

1. Follow the Bitcoin price to the moon on Bitcoinity.com
2. Explore your transactions on
Tradeblock.com Blockchain Explorer
3. Follow up Bitcoin adpotion with Coin Dance
4. Find the perfect fee using bitcoinfees.21.com
5. Watch the queue grow at Bitcoinqueue

1. you only need to follow the price if you are a day trader, otherwise it is destructive to watch it every second.
2. use a wallet! and it gives you all you need to know about your transactions. besides as long as there are known block explorers such as blockchain.info, blocktrail, .... no need to use an unknown one.
3. coin.dance has many good information nothing of them is directly showing to bitcoin adoption
4. again use a wallet that offers that feature, but yeah this is the only option that i am going to give you.
5. why? Cheesy

1/following the price is important, don't want to miss a rise of 400$ in 1 day no?
2/Exploring is far more interesting, it allows you to track moves of btc and identify different accounts in fact linked together
3/I don't know this site so can't really say :3
4/a wallet will never do this as good as you. It's really important to put the RIGHT fee considering your needs, i don't put the same rate by kbyte depending on the situation!
5/directly linked to 4. High queue=high fee.

2. Never heard of it. I prefer using Blocktrail and Blockexplorer.
3. Using coin dance is a must now? Visited it just today, will explore later.  Grin
4. This I agree with.

bitcoin industry?!
as a bitcoin user the only tool that you will ever need is a bitcoin wallet and nothing else. and this consist of many bitcoin users. for the rest if they are traders, they are going to need a lot more tools than just a bitcoin price ticker. mostly an exchange, a bot or at least bitcoinwisdom.
I agree plus include a block explorer in checking your transactions.
The mentioned blockwxplorer were not even that known by everyone. Blockchain, blockr and blocktrail are the ones I know OP.

In the phone app I used to use Preev.com but it started doing crash after crash with a very high frequency, that's why I have moved  BITCOIN PRIVE LIVE with the green Icon and the Bitcoin Symbol in my android phone.

As per the block explorer, blockchain.info has the most intuitive one, blocktrail or others are a bit more difficult to navigate that's why I agree that blockchain.info block explorer is the best so far.

As per the others tools I don't find them as much necessary, with Electrum wallet you just raise the dynamic fees to the maximum and you don't have to worry for the bitcoin21 website.

I cannot do without Preev.com for my daily price update and even for multi currency conversion. This is definately a tool you have to add, because it is my Swizz Army knife for Bitcoin. I also prefer to use Blockchain.info over other block explorers, because the interface is more user-friendly and responsive. ^smile^

These are the new options you providing to us already there are many exchanges where we can keep track of bitcoin price, but it is mainly important to people who are completely depend on bitcoin trading. Coming to transaction fee nobody is bothering about how much transaction we are doing and what will be the fee nobody is not thinking about it because every one know bitcoin transaction fee is very less so nobody is not considering it.

I don't think these were highly important all the time. Following the price movement is highly important and another thing no need to examine the fee for each transaction. Only based upon the time necessary to give confirmations, we need to set the transaction fee. Blockchain.info helps to know the status of the transaction and the time required.

I am not sure about the other sites, but for looking up transactions blockchain.info is by far the most popular website.
I started using it when I was a newbie and have found no reason to look elsewhere.
