I almost clicked "fuck mtgox", but then I almost clicked "ching,chong...", and then I clicked bitcoin is recovering, and I was very surprised that everyone else clicked on bitcoin is recovering over "fuck mtgox". That really speaks loudly to me that maybe bitcoin IS actually recovering as we speak.
I didn't really expect prices to stay low for long. That being said I'm not sure there will be a ton of upward movement in the coming weeks.

I understand you point of view and agree with it for the most part. I just don't think there was very much reason to be pessimistic. I think the whole Gox ordeal was what set things off in the wrong direction. I suspected the price to fall but not stay down is what I'm getting at.
Will go back to 430 before it hits 500
back in March we had exactly the same pattern already. That was when it spiked up to 710 and people at this board where shouting that we never see the 500s again.
