"bottom line is deribit can freeze your account and suspend your ability to trade at any given time without being legally liable for it as stated in their ToS:"
https://www.reddit.com/r/DeribitExchange/comments/mmu9uk/deribit_account_blocked_and_cant_withdraw/
I sympathize with the author and wish him to find a solution to his problem.
But think for yourself, are you ready to risk your savings, trusting them to some exchanges, even if they have not blocked the funds before?

This is one hell of a strategy, trying to use the publicity for which the organisation needs against them in trying to archive your goal of account recovery. It might be an effective strategy though becomes, should it be that your on your right, it would go a long way in forcing the hands of the support team to be hasty on your issue resolution less they loose customers on there platform. Come to think of it, what was the reason behind your account being blocked if they have any?
It would be nice to know so, perhaps it could be retweeted with posts it and get other users to retweet even without focus on the price to be paid in BTC. I hope they recover your account for you though, thank goodness is not some wallet and private keybor seed phrase related issue else, all could have been lost. Keep hoping.

If this is for real, good luck and hoping that you'll get that amount that you say yours. I've got no twitter and just wishing your problem to be solved soon.

Not interested also with the giveaway and if your problem becomes fine, good luck also if that's a real giveaway.

If you are truly in this shit right now, I feel sorry for you. I hope things will get ironed out very soon and you will resume your trading, if not with the same platform then with another one. But more than getting into this social media crusade, focus on reaching out to them through their official channels and provide all necessary proofs.

On the other hand, your way of presenting your case is rather off. First and foremost, you are giving no proof. Secondly, you seem to be giving too much emphasis on the giveaway part that you seem not to be truly aggrieved. Never mind that you made mention of phrases like follow me, live raffle, good luck, twitch, and so on. As a matter of fact, this thread itself has a clickbait subject, "$5000 in BTC giveaway!" And your tweet which is supposed to be a complaint coming from someone who has a "substantial amount of money" being frozen looks like this:

If you plan for people to somehow support your unsubstantiated accusation without them experiencing the same themselves, then let this old post below from mdayonliner remind you of your old yet somehow similar giveaway which is deemed unfair.

I don't think this is a good way to get your attention, lol. It is okay to ask people in this forum to help spread your tweets on Twitter. But the reward of $ 5,000 sounds ridiculous, along with negative trust in your account, I don't trust you. But, I wish you get your money back soon if it's true.

It seems he just looking for followers not for fixing his issue.

The only solution for his problem is to contact the support and if he needs to submit personal documents then he should send some documents to verify that he is a real person. If not then he might do wrong from deribit for not following their terms only support should be fixed this issue not the other people here on the forum.

@UnknownBTC
Why not make a youtube video while login in on deribit where we can see that your account is locked or blocked?

What I see here is that you are looking for someone to get likes and followers and to retweet your post to get more exposure so that you can gather more followers.

I don't know how true is this.

Can't take away the possibility that you just want to gather some followers, sorry to think like that. No assurance too that you will keep with your words once the problem is settled if that is really true.

Statements alone are not evidence. We might be supporting a user on which violated the site's terms as we don't know the story. Try to post every proof you have there in the Scam Accusation section.

I'm in support with Examplens suggested. It wont be right creating an army to release an account which might end up not being yours.
What will make your issue more legit is if you have all the evidence that the account is yours. At least they will know you are true to your claims and not just a random person recruiting people online to attack them.
Also. You need to exercise, cause they might be attending to lot of issues.

Do you need negative reviews about any service again? For some reason, I have such an opinion. Your negative tag speaks of your strange desire to pay for a bad rating. Now you're offering everyone $5 for pretty much the same thing. Many will be willing to send tweets, no doubt about it. But it is not known how true your accusation is.
It would be fair to do this:

this is mandatory. If you want any help, you need to provide all evidence that you have. OP promise a high giveaway but we have to take his word for it.

note: I am not interested in your giveaway I will help without that if it's possible. But how to know that is real, not just another way to get some followers on TW?

I'm dead serious about the $5000 and would appreciate any help If I was you I'd participate with only 15 retweets so far the odds look really good to win.

If you think this can help, I've been very happy to support you on Twitter no matter what reward you offer - I just never want to be in a similar situation, especially at a time when time is literally money. I don't know, sometimes it seems to me that there is a lot of amateurism when it comes to crypto services - or that they are so damn stingy that they don't want to hire additional staff in customer support.

Just a heads up: Chances are, with a well-written and decently detailed post, you're more likely to get traction when posting on Reddit.

Best of luck.

Hi I Already have,
 https://www.reddit.com/r/DeribitExchange/comments/mmu9uk/deribit_account_blocked_and_cant_withdraw

<...>
There’s a similar claim on reddit (see https://www.reddit.com/r/DeribitExchange/comments/mmu9uk/deribit_account_blocked_and_cant_withdraw/), which is yours, and that includes some details on the case.

The core option seems to persist with support, and interact with their own social media channels to give visibility to your claim. Pursuing them with a lawsuit seems a hefty task, since they are registered in Panama. You can also try to reach out to their CEO (John Jansen). I’ve seem he’s got a LinkedIn profile, but haven’t managed to see other more direct channels of communication. If you look around you may find better channels to reach out to him.

You're right I wish everything will get sort out since pursuing them does sound like a hefty task, regardless given the amount of money in the account If too much time passes I will have to use every single resource I have available and that included getting legal help. I don't have a LinkedIn but If I I'm not able to withdraw by next week I will try that thanks.

I hope you get traction to your funds because this is common with some exchanges holding users' funds and restricting access to the account.

thank you

UnknownBTC, although to everyone in a similar situation 2 weeks seems like as eternity, you have to understand that online customer support is something that is generally very slow, especially in everything related to cryptocurrencies - because you can see that we are in a time of big bull run. My advice to you is to be patient for at least 2 more weeks in which you can try to attract their attention on social networks - but try to be polite and not aggravate the situation even more.

As you wrote in the Reddit post, their TOS gives them the right to do such things - but I still hope that you will be able to get your funds as soon as possible.

You're right, thing is the exchange is very small so one would expect a faster costumer service but i will try to keep it together for longer, the situation is just very stressful, 2 weeks I don't have access to my funds, 2 weeks I don't trade/work/make money.

Just a heads up: Chances are, with a well-written and decently detailed post, you're more likely to get traction when posting on Reddit.

Hi, deribit an exchange locked my account with a substantial amount of money for me in it, It's been weeks since I provided everything I was asked for, and I'm still unable to withdraw my money I was thinking that perhaps some social media exposure would make them sort it out in a timely manner so for that reason when they unblock my account and let me withdraw my funds I will give away $5000 in BTC to someone that:

1- Follows me, likes and RT this tweet: https://twitter.com/Bullish__bear/status/1381796766882877441

Good luck everybody will happily announce the winner live on twitch!

I saw many giveaways on Twitter offering big money to one random person. I don't think it's real.
would you accept to use escrow for this? also someone neutral to draw a "lucky winner"?

note: I am not interested in your giveaway I will help without that if it's possible. But how to know that is real, not just another way to get some followers on TW?

I can offer prove of funds for instance deposit $5000 in an address, sign a message and leave it there until the winner is draw, I could draw the winner live for transparency, using escrow sounds like too much specially because we don't know how long it could take for me to get my account back and because the other party, the participants are not risking anything they could literally unlike un retweet and unfollow me at any given time, and my reputation would just go down the drain, I'm dead serious about the $5000 and would appreciate any help If I was you I'd participate with only 15 retweets so far the odds look really good to win.
