It seems to me that the time of spontaneous attacks from the hands of free shooters passed, tangible powers should be behind modern attacks and they are carried out by large organizations and their ultimate goal is price manipulation and not the sale of non-existent coins.

This type of attacks is now very popular. I think that in the near future all cryptocurrencies will find a solution. Usually, these attacks are unsuccessful or hackers earn so little.

many experts say that 2019 will be the year of attack 51 percent and in this year there will be a lot of losses for coins that work with proof of work
Because they are not preventing asic to dominating the hash power in the network and that's their fault to not put their focus to prevent it before. If that happens and they regret it and do a hardfork. That looks so amateur for me personally.

What is a 51% attack, and how should that influence your investment choices as far as Proof of Work coins go?
51% attack was successfully let white hat hackers to steal crypto on ETC and they returned same amount later. There are no more choices to do if you are not in developer in related industry. As an investor i can do my homework before investing big amount,on other cases this is not my job to control it.
