Wow crazy, the earth has been doing some insane shit recently.

I know right ?  The other week the river bank collapsed and flooded the coal mine. We are down to 1 power plant in the area.

I think its a message Smiley

Does that house have a basement?

That really sucks.... Maybe the end is near?

No basement here. We hide under the tables when quakes happen and hope for the best.

Apparently this area has "hard" rock formations which mean the tectonic stress builds up and "snaps" rather than dissipates through soft rocks.

I heard heaps about this last night, pretty crazy stuff.

The worst part is I was at work and the phoneline went down so I couldnt ring family.

It was a bit hairy at the time seeing the lights swing back and forwards and hearing glasses smash.

http://www.heraldsun.com.au/news/more-news/earthquake-rocks-victoria/story-e6frf7l6-1226401631728

This quake had an epicentre about 18km from my house. No one got hurt fortunately but now my house has massive cracks in the walls http://imgur.com/a/8PzLf#0  Cry

I went outside during the quake and could see the yard moving up and down which was quite bizarre.

This was the worst quake in 109 years for Victoria. We had one a few years back which wasnt as bad.
