Thanks guys! Using TRIXX helped me get to 900/300 temps are around 75C and getting 360 Mhash/s Smiley

nice!!

but you can get 400MH/s if you overvolt to 1100mV with core at 1000MH/s. I did it and for me it is stable.

Hi

forget everything that the other said ^^

And use TRIXX it is the best to OC Sapphire card you can go down to 300MHz for the memory and up to 1000MHz for the clock and you can also overvolt the car.

I'm using MSI afterburner and the memory clock does not go lower than 560. How can I get it to 300?

Use AMD GPU Clock Tool for setting the core/memory speeds.  Only use MSIA for fan control.

I'd tell ya, but I only vaguely remember from reading forum posts (I run Linux). But a quick forum search will get you the answer. If you have already edited the config file, then I think just closing and opening afterburner will let you set the clock a little lower, then close and open again...keep repeating till you get to 300. If your comp freezes before you get there, then your card can't go that low and you will want to go back up a bit and leave it there.

Why is your memory clock at 1125? Start lowering it steps and see how low you can get it. You should be able to get it down to 300 or so, and your card will run much cooler.

Hey guys I've got a Sapphire Radeon HD 5850 Xtreme oc to 830/1125 with 300 Mhash/s but the temps are too hot around 80-83C even without a case..
Any idea how to keep it under 70? should I underclock it or add more fans?
