to get rid of the newbie status you have to stay on for 4 hours and post 5 times. I believe. There is a topic about that.
I purchased one of the 5970's with the previous $400 deal from new egg and have to say the card is a beast. Now if I could just get both GPU's mining at the same time I would be a happy camper.
