Maybe you already know this, but the 270X is not a great card for hashing.

https://litecoin.info/Mining_hardware_comparison

It looks like it will draw around 200+ watts, so 6 of them + your MB/CPU/Memory and overhead will be very close to the PSU rating and probably over.

It is not good to run a PSU right at their limit, some say 80% of max capacity is good for long term usage, although a good PSU (Seasonic) will run right at or over its rating.

The other thing to be aware of is that the GPU's are very sensitive to power, particularly when you are close to the PSU limit.

You could put in 4 R9 280x and get a higher rate than with 6 270x.

Good Luck

well r9 280x need more but it does more hashings and the price is insane.. ill be happy if i get 2400khps with my rig.. i think 1300eu ROI will be reached in 2 months or so.. depends how i play..

What GPU are your using? I doubt you will be able to run 6 GPU's on a 1250w PSU.  You might be able to get by if a 7950 series card and is undervolted.  If it is a R9 280x you won't have enough power.

ill use r9 270x just bought last 12 cards for a freaking 121eu, max output 180watt by one card, so 1080 watt from card, 54watt cpu and rest crap.. 1250watt psu should be overhead.. would be enough for OC too..

hi, making 6 card rig for scrypt. i have one questions about pins.
this one http://www.idealo.de/preisvergleich/OffersOfProduct/2741495_-zx-series-1250w-ocz.html have 6x 8pins - atachble 2pin, i need around 12x 6pins to connect all my cards, so my question is: can I use adaptor 6pins to 2x 6 pins to connect all cards? isnt to much? http://shop.jacob-computer.de/_artnr_1857818.html?adProd=1&gclid=CMCFm_2TtLsCFYZd3godwi0A7A thanks in advance..

or should i buy 6 of them http://www.elv.de/output/controller.aspx?cid=74&detail=10&detail2=20121&refid=SEM_30013&gclid=CPWo78iTtLsCFQZf3godi0EAbw and connect only 1 4pin molex? so conf should be like that 1 molex adaptor to 6pins and 1 8-2pins cable.. wha ya think?

I have 6 pcie and 5 of them have only 1 pin, should i get PCI Express 16X to 1X Adapter or just 1x extender??
