For start, the ASCII code can be "read" in various ways, so the posted first step is already misleading.
Then you can use the converter from Brainwallet to get the Base58 (or B58 check?) code.
Then you paste it in brainwallet, to private key, in Priv key mode.
If the result addess is the one from the main post, you did it right.

I didn't. I think that I am close to the answer, but I don't have it.
If somebody gets the result, I am still curious.

That's the easy step. Now what do you do with that code?

The text SeoulBitcoinMeet had to be converted into ASCii code and then converted again into private key format. I would like to see the step by step on this, but I guess I will have to wait until I see the guy who put out the challenge.
Will post when I have the full answer. Maybe in 48 hours.

Text to ASCII conversion can be done here => http://www.unit-conversion.info/texttools/ascii/

ASCII to private key conversion can be done here => https://brainwallet.github.io/
Step one is a piece of cake, just a simple conversion.
Step two I don't know what do do with the ascii output.  Where do I enter it on the brain wallet site to convert it to private key form??
I can't figure it out.

Weird indeed, I don't have any too deep understanding of the bitcoin protocol, but the script for this transaction does not seem to differ from any other transaction.

Thus I am also curious how it was spent.

The simplest solution was that it was a "brainwallet", but nope, like all BTC "puzzles"... it was only solvable by an autistic savant. Might as well delete this topic, it's yet another waste of "normies'" time.

Hey guys, I don't have a programming background so I'm hoping someone will help me out and get some btc for it. Today someone in our group chat sent btc to 17QeC46aGMk8HuDenQAjRmnmYZwzzd1XnM he said anyone can have it and the private key is SeoulBitcoinMeet all one word.  So I am passing it along and asking for the solution.
Thanks in advance.
