I had an issue on my H97 anniversary boards where I had to use a 16x to 16x riser to get the card in the 16x slot to show up. Powered or unpowered I couldnt get it working with the 1x adapter.

Try booting your system with some other OS instead of windows to check if the same situation occurs.

You can use ETHOS or a very easy to use OS, simplemining.net
Do a search in the forum and u will find details on how to operate them

Most of the times it's the risers fault

I guess the risers are powered, correct?
Try changing risers/GPUs to check them,
Also remove all of the GPUs and boot with one at a time

Thank you evakka for the reply! Finally someone is willing to engage in the solution! I am grateful for your troubleshoot at the solution but, I have already sequenced all GPUS through all risers and in turn through all 1x, 16x & mini PCIe slots. They all work perfectly solo, as one would expect. The issue I believe is that my mini PCIe shares the same lane with my PCIe 1x lane 3. Any ideas on that? The only other thread I could find on this was from 2013-2014 here:https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=391411.0 I truly believe this can and should work but I am overlooking a piece of the puzzle here!?!?!

So here is my current set up:
Windows 10 64bit
AsRock Z97 Extreme6
Intel Celeron G1840 2.8GHZ
6x XFX Radeon RX 480 8GB (however I can only get 5 to work at this time)
Kingston 120GB SSD
Hyperx Fury 8GB DDR3
HP 1200W PSU dedicated for GPUs
Evga 1000W PSU dedicated to mobo, etc.

Has anybody successfully gotten all 6 GPUs to be recognized? I have all 5 PCIe slots working flawlessly. My issue is with the mini PCIe slot that I have a Mini PCIe to PCIe 1x adapter to 16x USB 3.0 riser. During the build and testing, this setup(Mini PCIe) worked fine and produced video through HDMI so I KNOW it works. Do I have a power problem or is this a Windows 10 issue? Any help or advice would be much appreciated. Thanks for your time and suggestions in advance!
