I rolled it back to 368.81 and got < 3 MH/s performance, so i updated to the latest drivers and I'm back to ~30 MH/s.

Why not use 9.8 with latest drivers, you'll get better performance.

Plug all the cards in. Start your rig. Make sure hey are all idle and then go to device manager and change the driver for the cards through there.
If you plug a new card in windows will automatically update to the newest drivers it can find and because youve got all the same cards it will run them all on the new driver. Manually change it back to whichever driver works for you.

I have 6 MSI GTX 1070 Gaming X GPUs (Micron memory) running steadily at 31 MH/s on Claymore 9.7. I'm using MSI Afterburner and have already unlocked P0 state (using nvidiaInspector) which, as far as I understand, accounts for an extra +200 MEM with my clock.
Base GPU: 1600
Base Mem: 3800
Voltage: Stock
Power Limit: 50%
Temp Limit: 60%
Core Clock: -196 (1404 MHz)
Mem Clock: +374 (really +574) (4374 MHz)
Fan: Auto
My settings look pretty good, and I've experimented a good bit finding the sweet spot.
In previous versions of the claymore miner readme, a certain NVIDIA driver has been referenced for best performance. I used DDU to remove the default driver (382.05), then install the recommended driver. I believe it was 347.52, 368.81, or 372.54. In order to do this, I disconnected all of my riser cards, and plugged one graphics card directly into the board.
The correct driver was displayed in Afterburner, so I hooked up all of the riser cards again and restarted. When I restarted with all 6 riser cards installed, Afterburner displayed the driver as 382.05 again.
Bottom line: am i missing out on mining performance due to my driver version and, if so, is there a way to resolve it?
