My 6800 runs at 0.62V taking around 100 Watt.
Might be good to test wattman to lower the vcore.

Hello how can the overclocking memory limit be removed? The slider cannot exceed 2150.

I'm getting 48 mh stable on a 6700xt, 100-105w at the wall.

This model is a XFX Merc so the cooling is kinda crazy and the fans rarely spin.

It is quite real... in my case, it is only 4-5W more, depending on room TEMP, it is true that I'm using a really efficiently  PSU.

By the way your EVGA XC3 or FWT3?. Did you test in Windows to see Mem Temps?

Here a pic:

92°C memory, my EVGA is the XC3 Black model, without backplate (the cheapest one)

About the thread, OP, did you buy the cards?
If you have 862$ for 6700xt, do you know about 3060?
Usually it's cheaper than 6700xt

6700 xt mines well out of the box and doesn't need to buy special motherboards and raisers like 3060.
If the hashrate of ETH grows, then the payback period of your video cards can double.
The only threat for video cards is the release of ASICs for mining with a large hashrate and new ETH hardforks.

With lolMiner I'm able to get a RTX 3070 at 107W - 59Mhs and the RTX 3080 with 208W at 93Mhs (in this case I have low Memory OC)

I have a 3070 Asus Dual Fan, 60.48 MH exactly, 130w from the wall
On software you have 107w, and from the wall it's a little bit more but you did a great job tweaking your card

I have EVGA 3080 too, using 235w on software, 98Mhs

What shows on software is not the total of your card, you should add a little more watts to measure from the wall

Hm months back a rx5700xt costs 500$ in my country, buying at 800+ each isn't that bad but know that there is a risk that market can go bearish at any time, I hope you are up for this? Your ROI will be so far away if such happens, RX5700XT can do 57mh I believe so it's not bad at all

OP said about 6700xt, the new AMD card, not 5700xt

In my opinion, if you have spare money that you can afford to lose, buy it, the prices are insane in my country, right now this card is available for more than 1200 USD, so 862 is not bad.

6700xt is not as good as 3060ti, or 3070 (60Mhs with 130w)

6700 xt - 47Mhs with 120w to 130w of power consumption, so do the math with your electricity, it's hard to predict something in mining, keep in mind ETH is going to cut some reward fees and the diff is increasing everyday

With lolMiner I'm able to get a RTX 3070 at 107W - 59Mhs and the RTX 3080 with 208W at 93Mhs (in this case I have low Memory OC)

thank you for your reply, TBH am having some life changes and need ANYTHING to get me some income, while i have my business am relying on mining too, its funny though the 6700xt dont do as well as the 5700 XT i thiugh the 6700 is a better card

also does the CPL mean anything on these card or are they just the same as all other 6700 XTs out there ?
https://www.asrock.com/Graphics-Card/AMD/Radeon%20RX%206700%20XT%20Challenger%20Pro%2012GB%20OC/

id really apprecaite ur advise...

thanks,

No problem  Wink
I think CLP means: Challenger Pro, just some name for the card, nothing special here

Yes, 5700xt can do 55Mhs to 58Mhs (with bios mod), using 130w or 140w, better than 6700xt, but it's almost impossible to buy

Wait for more opinions, but it's up to you to make the choice, it's not a bad price you have, and you can always sell hardware if something goes wrong

Am currently getting a deal for 5x of these at nearly 862$ each
Those: http://asrock.com/Graphics-Card/AMD/Radeon%20RX%206700%20XT%20Challenger%20Pro%2012GB%20OC/

This will be my first amd rig, any thing I should be aware about??...

Is it worth it paying this cost for 5x cards ??... I know ull probably say NO but am not seeing any thing on the horizon promising lower prices, some.predict gpu shortage to last up till 2023

My 3060 ti I bought them each for like 900$ each  ow good luck finding near that price today on eBay etc...

Also I pre-ordered seva cards on shopblt 3 months ago no word from them so far...

Also as per nicehash ROI will take like 7 months, so what r ur thoughts??...

Thanks,
