What kind of power usage do the 6850's use? My 5830 rig is sooo fucking hot.
I've got 2 of these cards in my gaming rig and occassionally use them to mine.
Out of crossfire + 900mem/250 core I see 250mhashes per card (500 total) at 70c temperature.

Just get however many names and addresses of family members you need. I bought 8 powercolor 6870 with 20 dollar rebates and received every single one of them, where as I could only redeem one of my Antec PSU rebates and one of my MSI rebates. In my opinion powercolor rocks for that reason.

If a 6850 could achieve 300 megahash consistently it would be worth it but according to my thread a couple weeks ago the realistic max is about 280 and average overclock is around 240.

NewEgg is having a labor day sale this weekend and they have a PowerColor 6850 for $129 after coupon+MIR. I know the 6850 isn't the best mining card in the world, but at this price it has a really good (if not the best) Mhash/$ ratio. Also free shipping
