No, three of those cards are too much for your PSU

I've tested 2 x 7950 here at full load in BTC they eat 520W at the power socket with the coolermaster GX 650, adding a 6950 will pretty damn sure be around 670W , maybe more, even if the psu can handle 100% load, it is not recommended to use more than 70% or 80% of the psu capacity, you will kill it in very short time, and the coolermaster are excellent units, it would be a pity to loose it.

Just get rid of the 6950, or put it in another machine. (7000 series are FAR more efficient MH per W)

EDIT: my numbers are based in a machine with sempron 145 processor, you have i5, so, add 40W more to my numbers.

Thanks for the advice!

I've actually got another 7950 now, do you think the psu will handle a third card?

Hi Guys,

Im just getting into mining and i want to make sure I dont kill my pc.

My specs are as follows:

PSU: Coolermaster GX 750W Bronze
Motherboard: MSI Z77A-G41
CPU: Intel i5 3300 (something like that)
Graphics: MSI Twin Frozer 7950 & Powercolor 6950.

I was just wanting to know if the power supply i have will be sufficient for the two cards under full load.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks
