if you can see your payment has more then 6 confirmation on blockchain then it is confirm by bitcoin network, seller might be trying to scam you, post your transaction ID so can check it for more details.

Hi guys, I was wondering if someone could please help. I am new to bitcoins and bought my first Bitcoin a week ago in order to buy something online

I sent payment to the seller just over a week ago for just over half a bit coin (use block chain wallet). My fee was very small .0000003 or something - at the time I didn't know the importance of this.

Now a week later it says 702 confirmations but transaction not confirmed?! I thought you only need 6 confirmations? What's going on here

Cheers
the amount of confirmations the transaction needs to be confirmed varies from seller to seller. usually people choose 6 confirmations as a good number. you need to contact your seller for help

Contact Rui Products and send tell them that you sent them the payment and that the payment is confirmed.  Ask them when your product will be shipped.  As proof of payment, give them the following transaction ID:

fd605402271ffa74a7b046388dfa0ebaa5ec1bf3209ebbb4ead54fba85e02b1b

It has been confirmed since: 2016-01-27 at 05:41:11 UTC

Regardless of what your wallet says, RUI (or whoever the address belongs to) has received 0.51BTC from your address.
They should know themselves. It's not up to you to tell them.

Goodbye, Z.
Also will the seller even know it's got so many confirmations? Don't they only get the bitcoins once the transaction is confirmed?
If they got their wallets up to date, they know.

When I log in to my wallet and go to transactions it's still in red saying unconfirmed then I click on it and it says the details of it
Is your wallet up to date and synced? What type of wallet are you using?

It's called Rui products. I've bought stuff plenty of times from them via credit card so it's legit. How can I let them know it's confirmed? What should I say to them so they will then ship it for me?

Everything looks fine, the transaction has been confirmed for a while now.
Where do you see it being unconfirmed?

Goodbye, Z.
It's an online company they are legit I've got stuff from them before but paid with credit card back then
Do I need to give you any more details to check it? It's 639 confirmations by the way not 702 I just checked I must have got confused somehow

this is the transaction and as you say it has 640 confirmations already, hence the transaction is not unconfirmed.
What "Online company" are you dealing with? Have they got experience with processing bitcoin payments? Do they use a 3rd party payment processor?

I am not sure all the links you want me to send because I'm noob but my address is 1Hqfo9o5Eee2TY19Qrkc2QTdauE7FSqMp2

And I sent like .51 Bitcoin to 19KYxGXaCAXietsCozM5LTMz8aqjHrNCPJ

When I click on it it says 700 confirmations and then when I click again on this link thing in my wallet it says included in blocks and has a 6 digit number for a block does that mean only 1 confirmation or what?

Who determines when the transaction gets confirmed is it block Chain or the seller? I bought the bitcoins off coin mama and it got confirmed in like 20 mins and then sent on to the seller for the thing I'm buying

What do I do?
No, the block shown is the first block it was included in. Either the seller is scamming you, or he does not understand how bitcoin works.

Dear me, I think I'm becoming a god
the seller is probably taking advantage of OP by saying the TX is unconfirmed because of low fee
